Attached is the schedule for the LAN this weekend.

I've decided to run Dota in conjuction with CSS, because one is RTS, the other FPS.
Instead of the 2x FPS at the same time.. any suggestions to swop CSS with COD?
(I will base this all on teams who sign up)

And also here is the type of formula that I will be looking at for the prize money..

V1.1 = R10% of Entrance per player X Amount of Players X 25% of the Teams.
V1.2 = R10% of Entrance per player X Amount of Players extra X 25% of the Teams.
V2.1 = R10% of Entrance per player X Amount of Players X 25% of the Teams / 2

Lets take a game of 5 players...

For future events and the future of this organization, it seems quite a critical position has become available.
Not only will this person have to perform basic admin functionalities, but they need to have quite a good understanding of almost all games played by the communities as a whole. And the key attribute for this position, is that the person needs to be well spoken and have a good tongue for the English language. You can't say things like: "wow that nade was fail!" FIRED! :P

Venue: Gateway as usual (Any requests for the venue?)

Usual story, need a name for free entry, etc, working on the prizes, i'll perhaps do a poll if people would like hardware or straight cash? I'm not sure which people favour :P

Been quite a busy year for us, since the announcement of our Dreamhack idea last year November, our Marketing Gal has been working overtime for the past few months to put proposals together and get sponsors onboard.

I think finally I can update you guys. Sorry for the lack of updates, but I don't think you guys deserve to be given false hope and let down by an organization with false promises. That happens just too often and Vendetta was created to make sure that didn't happen!

Just wanted to give an updated as to the plans of "Vendetta" as a brand and gaming front of KZN.
We are planning a LAN in March, things are still sketchy and in play, but we have sponsors that are keen on providing the equal gaming platforms we will be needing to hold a qualifier that will be seeing the winners flown to sweden to play at Dreamhack :D

At this point we havent decided on the discipline to use, more than likely DoTA as it has the biggest following and least support from other gaming initiatives around the country.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Despite the power glitches, we managed to get back on track and get things done that we needed :D

Thanks to Vodacom ! They sponsored us the venue, the 5 hampers and some goodies you got at the door, without their help, the event wouldn't be possible. Once again they have shown their dominance for marketing to gear the youth of today.
